Get started with DreamLend in just a few minutes! This guide will walk you through the essential steps to begin lending, borrowing, or liquidating on the protocol.
🎯 What You'll Need
Wallet: MetaMask, WalletConnect, or any Somnia-compatible wallet
Network: Somnia L1 Testnet configured
Test Tokens: MUSDT, MUSDC, MWBTC, MARB, or MSOL for testing
⚡ 3-Minute Setup
Step 1: Connect Your Wallet 💳
Visit dreamlend.finance
Click "Connect Wallet" in the top right
Select your preferred wallet (MetaMask recommended)
Approve the connection request
Step 2: Add Somnia L1 Network 🌐
If you haven't added Somnia L1 to your wallet yet:

}Step 3: Get Test Tokens 🪙
Navigate to the "Create" page
Scroll down to "Quick Mint Tokens"
Mint test tokens for lending/borrowing:
MUSDT - Mock USDT for stable lending
MWBTC - Mock Bitcoin for high-value loans
MUSDC - Mock USDC for stable collateral
🏦 For Lenders: Create Your First Offer
1. Navigate to Create Page
Click "Create" in the navigation menu
You'll see the loan offer creation form
2. Configure Your Loan
Loan Token: Select the token you want to lend (e.g., MUSDT)
Amount: Enter how much you want to lend (e.g., 1000 MUSDT)
Interest Rate: Set your desired annual rate (e.g., 15%)
Duration: Choose loan duration in days (e.g., 30 days)
3. Set Collateral Requirements
Collateral Token: Choose required collateral (e.g., MWBTC)
Collateral Amount: Set required collateral (auto-calculated based on oracle prices)
4. Create the Offer
Review the Loan Summary on the right
Click "Create Loan Offer"
Approve token spending in your wallet
Confirm the transaction
🎉 Success! Your loan offer is now live and available for borrowers.
💰 For Borrowers: Accept Your First Loan
1. Browse Available Offers
Navigate to "Offers" page
Browse available loan offers
Check interest rates, durations, and collateral requirements
2. Select a Loan
Find an offer that matches your needs
Review the live pricing and price changes
Check the collateral requirements
3. Accept the Loan
Click "Accept" on your chosen offer
Approve collateral token spending
Confirm the loan acceptance transaction
4. Manage Your Loan
Go to "My Loans" to view your active loan
Monitor loan health and collateral ratio
Add more collateral if needed
Make partial repayments to reduce interest
⚡ For Liquidators: Monitor and Liquidate
1. Find Unhealthy Loans
Navigate to "My Loans" or use monitoring tools
Look for loans with health factors below 120%
Check for overdue loans past their due date
2. Execute Liquidation
Click on an unhealthy loan
Review liquidation details and potential profit
Click "Liquidate Loan"
Confirm the transaction
3. Earn Rewards
Receive liquidation bonuses
Earn $DREAM tokens for protocol participation
Monitor your rewards in the "Rewards" section

All protocol participants earn $DREAM tokens through liquidity mining:
Lenders: Earn rewards based on active loan principal
Borrowers: Earn rewards for maintaining healthy loans
Liquidators: Earn bonus rewards for liquidation activities
Visit the "Rewards" page to:
View your accumulated rewards
Claim available $DREAM tokens
See your contribution to protocol liquidity

For Lenders:
Active Offers: Number of pending loan offers
Total Lent: Amount currently lent out
Interest Earned: Total interest received
$DREAM Rewards: Liquidity mining earnings
For Borrowers:
Loan Health: Collateral ratio vs. liquidation threshold
Interest Accrued: Current interest owed
Time Remaining: Days until loan maturity
Collateral Value: Current USD value of collateral
For Liquidators:
Liquidation Opportunities: Number of unhealthy loans
Profit Potential: Expected liquidation bonuses
Success Rate: Percentage of successful liquidations
